According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Sergio Aguero rejected a move to Juventus before agreeing to join Barcelona this summer.
The Argentine forward has officially departed Manchester City and will join Barca at the start of next month, beginning a whole new chapter for himself in the process. Barca always did seem like the right fit for him and now, the move has been completed with Aguero hoping to prove to himself – and Manchester City – that he still has what it takes to succeed at the highest level.
Juve, on the other hand, are coming off the back of a poor season and quite clearly need a notable ‘win’ in the summer. They want to do everything in their power to keep hold of their top stars, including Cristiano Ronaldo, and securing the signing of Aguero would’ve helped them to make a real statement within the context of European football.
